Bridal fascinators: looking fab in white

Your wedding day is probably to date the most important day of your life and will be among the top few of your life. Not only does it have to be perfect in each and every way but also remembered for all those little details that makes your celebration unique.

I am finding a lot of brides coming to me for an alternative to the traditional veil and not wanting a tiara. With the modern bride making bolder statements with her dress, the fascinator is finding it is more suited as the hair accessory to accompany a beautiful hair design.  The fascinator is also less intrusive and lightweight, they are also easily removed and replaced without damaging your hairstyle.  The most positive point of a fascinator is that you can have it designed to suit your style, face shape and your wedding theme.

If you want to make a truly dazzling statement then a beautiful bridal fascinator made from silk flowers, jewels and delicate feathers will achieve this, the Amore also includes a little bit of netting. All of our designs are hand made which means that they can be easily restyled to suit your tastes should you want an added extra or another amendment to one of our designs, so you can create that perfect glamorous head piece.

As bridal fascinators, by nature are glamorous and ornate, I often suggest to stylists to compliment the design that a brides hair needs to be kept simple and classic, at most a french-twist or a chignon.  If the style is too ornate then attaching the fascinator can pose a few problems and can look some what out of place. I personally would suggest a fascinator to a bride to be who has shorter hair, rather than a tiara as they can add some dynamic to your head. Every face is different so it is worth taking the time to try on a few fascinators if you have the opportunity and seeing what fits best, but my only general guide is, if you have a rounder face then go for something that follows the contours of your head and sweeps up as this will lengthen your face and make you appear slimmer.

I would suggest that your bridesmaids should wear a very simple petite design that does not appear to be to ornate, something like a Harmony or a Belle (I personally designed this for my daughters wedding and her bridesmaids, they looked so beautiful I added it to the collection). Mum will want to look fabulous as well but without taking it away from you, so she may want to look at our half-hat designs in our sophisticated collection such as our very popular Millie and Charm.

Take a look at our designs exclusively designed for brides for yourself as well as our other designs most suited for bridesmaids, as I can colour match all of the designs, I can easily make any design you want to match your dress or your bridesmaids dresses.

All that is left for me to say is have a fabulous day and may it be a wonderfully happy day to remember!
